15.11.25 at Salon de Papier by Mobius x Cartierul Creativ Opening: 02.10, 19:00

Beyond the 9th gate, reality shifts its density: ordinary matter appears infused with supra-meaning and manipulated by forces that defy the known laws of physics, while the relation to the surrounding world is mediated by the inherent presence of mystery. Stepping across this threshold means accepting the magical as a constitutive dimension of reality.
The exhibition unfolds as an installation drawing from the research of SPELLS, CURES. THE 9TH DIMENSION. V2, a project on witchcraft practices and their seamless entanglement with everyday life. The artistic approach engages with the documentary material just as magical thought transforms the everyday, animating it.
IOANA CÎRLIG: Photography at the edge between documentary and fiction, fragments from field research in the villages of Dobrogea and Maramureș / TEOHARIE ZUGRAVU: Scenography and object installation assembling the witchcraft toolkit / HANNA HANUMAN: Botanical illustrations of plants used in magical practices and rituals / VR installation, immersive incantation experience – AURAL EYE: Visual design, MARIA BALABAȘ & MIHAI BALABAȘ: Sound installation, AUGMENTED SPACE AGENCY: Experiential design, developer / IOANA COTULBEA – Curator
The VR installation will be added to the exhibition starting from 17.11
We invite you into this hybrid space where artistic vision overlaps with ethnological research, and where the central element is precisely that which cannot truly be documented: the subtle spectrum of reality.
