Drăgaică, Yellow Sweet Clover and Naphthalene

Mrs. Mușa, from the village of Starchiojd (Prahova), brings out all the wool carpets and covers on Drăgaică day, everything precious and crafted by her hands. She hangs them in the yard in the sun and air, visible to everyone. From the hill behind her house, she gathers bundles of Drăgaică, carefully stored at the end of the day in closets, among the wool carpets. Drăgaica is good for repelling moths and all pests that could destroy the lifelong work of the weavers.”
