The forest is a complex structure, composed of rocks, soil, vegetation, clouds, and sunlight. The plants in the forest are interconnected, like a neural network, through fungi, small plants, roots, and the crowns of trees. A tree in the middle of the forest can communicate with one at the other end. Ferenc Korodi, a forestry engineer, describes the intricacies within the forest from his own perspective.
